Jefferson School of Nursing undergraduate student Carmen Low was selected with five other students to participate in the Independence Blue Cross (IBC) Nursing Internship Program this summer. The 10-week program offers student interns paid, temporary positions in a community clinic or a health care or insurance administration setting. Low is interning at the Team 2 Utilization Management at IBC.

"This is a magnificent opportunity for Jefferson nursing students to learn and gain valuable real-world experience in health care, insurance administration, and public health," says Beth Ann Swan, PhD, CRNP, FAAN, Dean, Jefferson School of Nursing. "We thank IBC for their continued support of nursing students, practicing nurses and the nursing community at large."
